This course satisfies the requirements of Texas Occupations Code Section 1701.402 (k). It also covers the new reporting requirements introduced with the passage of HB 2660 and SB 2429 during the 88th regular legislative session.
Also, this presentation focuses on missing persons, exploitation, and trafficking and how peace officers are to report incidents of missing persons as written in the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, Sections 63.009 – 63.00905.
This course also covers Texas statewide alerts, reporting agencies and clearinghouses, interdiction, interviewing victims, and trauma-informed response.
