This is an OSS Academy® National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System [NLETS] online training course offered for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.
The National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) is the officer's primary nationwide method by which law enforcement officers inquire and report such information as driver's license data, vehicle, boat, and aircraft registration, and other information. This course is designed to introduce you to the system and to give you a basic understanding of its history, structure, and functions, along with basic guidelines for radio and NLETS messaging.
Please note, the entire course final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive one (1) hour of course credit.
