This is an  OSS Academy® Prisoner Transport online training course offered for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.

Transporting prisoners is a routine task for most law enforcement officers, and - unfortunately - that can breed a degree of complacency. For your safety, and for safe movement of your charge, you need to be aware of and employ proper procedures and equipment in order to successfully accomplish your objective. An arrestee's desire to escape, his or her use of alcohol or drugs, embarrassment, or other emotional issues, can make the transport task difficult and extremely dangerous. In this course you are presented with helpful techniques to decrease the dangers of prisoner movement. 

Please note, the entire course final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive two (2) hours of course credit.
