This is an OSS Academy® SWAT Management online training course offered  for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.

Our course addresses the basic development and operation of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams. We provide essential background material and supporting documentation to provide a deeper understanding of the philosophy behind such teams and their various strategies. Tactical response situations often present unusual and elevated risks to residents and officers involved. The high profile nature of critical incidents, which are generally beyond the resolution capability of first responders, focuses attention on the outcome, which often becomes the barometer by which the agency and its leadership are measured.

Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive seven (7) hours of course credit.
