This is an OSS Academy® Traumatic & Acquired Brain Injury online training course offered for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.

This course is designed to familiarize peace officers, corrections officers, and telecommunicators with the causes and effects of human brain injuries. Special attention is placed on prevention, and improving communications with those we encounter who are struggling with a prolonged brain injury. Resources are also provided on taking action to prevent brain injury, and identifying what signs a person with a brain injury may be exhibiting.

Please note, the entire course, final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive two (2) hours of course credit.
