This is an OSS Academy® De-Escalation of Force elective course in an online training format for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators. Experienced police officers know that de-escalation techniques are inherently abnormal for experienced peace officers, but they are for everyday people, too. How often do you use de-escalation techniques on your significant other when they are upset with you? Such efforts can go against our natural fight or flight reflexes.
Please note, the entire course (including any applicable course parts), final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive four (4) hours of course credit. Note, this particular storefront listing is not the TCOLE accredited course. To purchase the TCOLE accredited De-Escalation of Force course, click here.
