This is an  OSS Academy® Internal Affairs Investigations course online training course offered for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.

As a supervisor you have been assigned the task of investigating a resident’s complaint against an officer. Do you know how to proceed? What does the complainant expect? What can you legally ask an officer under investigation? What happens to the files when you have completed work? If the officer tells you he is invoking his rights under the Garrity Rule, what then can you do or not do? The answers to these and many more questions can be found in this course.
