Overview

This is an OSS Academy® Sexual Assault Investigations online training course offered for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.

Sexual assault comes in many forms, from offensive touching to very violent penetration of another person. The perpetrators may be male or female, and their victims range from the very young to the elderly and mentally impaired. This course is designed to provide officers, prosecutors, and criminalists with a more in-depth understanding of sexual assault and those key changes within the different state penal codes that may impact officer performance, investigation, and reporting.

Please note, the entire course final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive one (1) hour of course credit.
