This is an OSS Academy® Workplace & Sexual Harassment online training course offered for Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators. Employment harassment and discrimination, which includes sexual harassment, involves a complex web of overlapping federal and state statutes that exceeds the scope of this training course. This course is presented to help you understand this important topic and assist you in avoiding conflicts in the workplace. The course also introduces and provides an overview of certain actions which give rise to complaints, the remedies available to employees under the law, and reasonable steps an employer can take to prevent and correct any harassing behavior. Please note, the entire course final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive one (1) hour of course credit.
